SUMMARY: This position is responsible for delivering Tyson Foods orientation programs at the designated facility to supervisor/management, clerical/management support, and hourly team members. This position is also responsible for assisting with special events training. This position will interact regularly with Training Coordinator, assistant hourly trainers, and hourly team members.



Other duties include:

• Facilitating new hire orientation to include safety, policies and procedures, knife skills, food safety, etc.


• Completing required documentation for training sessions


• Assimilating new team members to assigned jobs


• Following up daily with hourly team members on the production floor


• Assisting with clerical tasks such as data entry for training tracking, etc.


• Planning and scheduling participants and specific training programs


• Monitoring and tracking performed training


• Assisting in developing and updating Job Safety Analysis and job breakdown sheets


• Ensuring all needed training materials are in stock


• Seeking and continually assessing ways to improve orientation and new hire training


• Other duties as required

Requirements:

Education: High school graduate or equivalent.

Experience: 1 + years experience in training or food processing (preferred).

Computer Skills: Working knowledge of Microsoft Suite software preferred.

Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Travel: 1 to 3 trips per year

Three-Time Rule: Employees who have worked for Tyson Foods three or more times are not eligible for rehire.



Rehire Waiting Period: 181 days.
