Schneider Electric has an opening for a Plant Manager to lead our Huntington, IN operations. As the Plant Manager, you'll collaborate with our senior leadership teams to establish strategic plans, road-mapping and initiatives that promote our Safety-First culture and deliver world-class quality to our customers.

What will you do?


  • Be responsible for Production, Logistics, Methods & Maintenance, Customer Satisfaction & Quality, SERE, Finance, Human Resources, Technical Antenna functions.

  • Define and fulfil the plant objectives and priorities.

  • Define continuous improvement priorities ensuring his team uses the appropriate tools (SPS, 6 Sigma, ...) in all areas of the plant.

  • Lead the change inside the organization.

  • Review monthly action plans with department managers.

  • Manage the plant operations to achieve the KPI targets through action plans and regular reviews. Manage the efficiency of the whole animation system.

  • Organize the missions of the different departments to anticipate or solve operational manufacturing issues.

  • Be responsible to validate Master Production Plan

  • Is accountable / responsible to ensure "Environment, Health & Safety" of employees / onsite personnel & site according to applicable laws / regulations & Schneider Electric policies / directives / procedures.

  • Implements a local EHS policy & program align with Schneider Electric strategy.

  • Build strong local industrial competencies and ensure targeted level of turnover.

  • Be responsible for the plant people management strategy and skills & competencies development for DVC & NDVC in coordination with HRBP.

  • Guarantee the respect of Schneider policy & implementation of the local rules.

  • Deploy and challenge SPS & 6 sigma in all areas of the plant.

  • Organize the missions of the different departments to anticipate or solve operational manufacturing issues.

  • Build strong local industrial competencies and ensure targeted level of turnover.

  • Participates with other senior managers to establish corporate strategic plans and objectives.


What qualifications will make you successful?

  • +5 years of experience as Manager in transnational industrial company

  • Bachelor of Science in Engineering or related field

  • Certification in Lean Manufacturing is preferred.

  • Capability of handling multiple tasks and priorities.

  • Have full accountability and leadership of the topics managing end to end governance.

  • Navigate and adapt in front of different stakeholders and peers.

  • Effective communication - ability to communicate in a clear and concise manner internally as well as externally.
