Williams lea is hiring for a Design Team Lead for our Wheeling, WV office to work Monday to Friday 8:00 am to 5:00 pm!




Pay: $26.90/hour

The Design Team Lead will ensure design projects are completed accurately and effectively per brand guidelines and internal direction. The role is responsible for leading the day-to-day activities performed by the Design team.



Job qualifications



  • Bachelor's degree in Digital Arts/Graphic Design (or other related field) or equivalent with years of experience able to substitute

  • Minimum of 2 years prior studio production graphic design experience focus on mechanical builds Illustrator and InDesign

  • Adobe CS Suite (Acrobat, InDesign, Photoshop)

  • MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

  • Supervisory experience; 1+ years preferred

  • Ability to articulate ideas, motivate the team and follow policies and procedures to manage client expectations and promote a healthy work environment

  • Attention to detail with emphasis on accuracy and quality

  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal relationship building skills verbally, written, through email and by telephone

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline driven team environment

  • Ability to prioritize work to balance multiple projects and maintain professional composure; especially when working with immediate or escalated deadlines or issues

  • Good judgment and organizational skills with sound decision-making ability and solutions-oriented approach with the ability to ask for and follow directions.

  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a team

  • Handle sensitive and/or confidential documents and information

  • Understands the concept and can execute the strategy of hands-on customer service

  • Ability to assign the correct priority to work requests based on experience and following established guidelines

  • Detail-oriented, able to manage or work on multiple projects simultaneously




Job duties



  • *Oversee Graphic Design production team ensuring all projects are delivered accurately and effectively, within agreed expected time frames.

  • *Proven staff leadership skills with an ability to educate the organization and instill it with the responsibility for print/premium production best practices.

  • *Demonstrated independent problem solving, initiative and sound judgment in coordinating multiple priorities and meeting deadlines.

  • *Strong organizational, analytical and negotiating skills; proven expertise in problem resolution and troubleshooting.

  • *Extensive knowledge of all areas of print production, combined with excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.

  • *Extensive knowledge of print production (10 years) and Adobe CS software

  • *Interacts with the Account Manager to resolve issues, negotiate revisions, and verify information whenever necessary.

  • Excellent project management skills/volume management skills, highly organized and ability to multitask effectively.

  • *Excellent team player with good interpersonal skills.

  • *Operates effectively and with flexibility in a fast-paced deadline driven environment.

  • Strong written communication skills.

  • *Must have strong command of the written English language.

  • *Champions interests of WLT including adherence to WLT systems
