Job Description:

SUMMARY


This role involves operating and monitoring CNC machines to ensure the machined parts meet dimensional, quality, and customer specifications. It also requires performing other production processes such as assembly, soldering, and bonding.


ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS


• Maintain high-quality standards through precise measurements and adjustments to manufacturing processes.


• Must be willing to learn multiple CNC machines and inspection stations.


• Prepare and operate CNC machines following established procedures and guidelines for drilling, grinding, milling, etc.


• Complete simple deburring, assembly, and other production tasks.


• Assist the machinist in the setup process as required.


• Understand the specifications of the task at hand and the desired result by knowing how to read work instructions.


• Inspect and measure finished products and compare them with requirements to determine if the process has been completed correctly.


• Supervise the machines while they execute the tasks and make necessary adjustments for better results.


• Check output to spot any machine-related mistakes or flaws.


• Prepare and load raw materials and parts onto the machines.


• Perform visual inspections.


• Meet standard production output requirements.


• Maintain and promote a safe working environment by following safety rules, policies, and 5S standards.


• Track and effectively communicate job progress.


• Implement continuous improvement ideas and suggestions and demonstrate support for the Carlisle Operating System.

QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE


• High school diploma or equivalent.


• 3 years related experience and training in CNC Machining or equivalent combination of education and experience.


LANGUAGE REQUIREMENTS


• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.


• Conversational in any other language preferred.


JOB SKILLS


• Beginner in MS Office.


• Knowledge of ERP systems, SAP preferred.


• Ability to read and understand verbal and written instructions, read blueprints, drawings, and schematics.


• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.


• Strong communication skills


• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment


• Able to work independently with minimal supervision to complete tasks.


PHYSICAL DEMANDS


As part of their job duties, the employee must be able to sit, stand, and walk throughout the day while frequently using their hands to handle objects and communicate verbally. Additionally, they may need to reach, stretch, push, pull, crouch, stoop, and occasionally lift objects weighing up to fifty (50) pounds. This role requires specific vision abilities, including close, distance, color, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. PERSONAL PROTECTIVE EQUIPMENT REQUIREMENTS


• ASTM F-2412-2005, ANSI Z41-1999, or ANSI Z41-1991 rated safety toe shoes in specific areas.


• Clear ANSI Z87.1 safety-rated glasses in specific areas.


• Hearing protection in specific locations.


• Ability to compile with JSA in specific areas.
