Description: Our client, a growing food manufacturer in the Cleveland, OH area seeking a Sanitation Supervisor to join their team. This role provides an excellent opportunity to develop leadership and supervisory skills while contributing to a clean and safe work environment. This person will work closely with the quality department to ensure standards are continuously upkept.
Responsibilities
Team Member Support: Assist in training and guiding sanitation staff on cleaning procedures and safety protocols.
Sanitation Tasks: Participate in cleaning and sanitizing equipment, work areas, and facilities as needed.
Quality Control: Conduct routine inspections to ensure sanitation standards are met.
Supply Management: Assist in maintaining inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment.
Communication: Effectively communicate sanitation requirements and expectations to the team.
Problem-Solving: Identify and report sanitation issues to management.
Safety: Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent.
Prior leadership experience
Previous experience in a cleaning or sanitation role preferred.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Willingness to learn and grow within the role.
