Materials Quality Engineering Co-Op - Spring 2025

Job Description:

Our site in Colorado Springs is seeking a Materials Quality Engineering Co-Op to join our team for the Spring 2025 season. This assignment is intended to be 6 months in duration. This role will need to be onsite 40 hours per week from January - June 2025.

This role will pay $23 - 30/hr depending upon experience and educational level.

In This Role You Will:

• The co-op will complete Quality Work Request forms that coordinate CMM and Optiv dimensional measurements, visual inspections, Rho Point gloss and haze measurement, Reflectivity, Ra (average surface roughness), and various testing through the quality department.
• The co-op will download data from Camline and report process capability data, conduct bias study(s) between the supplier and Entegris measurements.
• Review gag R&R analysis from the suppliers and FAIR analysis from supplier. MSA analysis will be trained as required.
• Reports and charts will be generated from Camline, Minitab, and Excel.
• The co-op will compare supplier process capability for dimensions to POR process using Equivalence testing, T Tests, Cp and Cpk, and bias analysis utilizing Minitab and Camline.
• The co-op will lean to use Keyence surface analysis equipment including the VKX, and VR machines.
• Resin qualification duties may also be required

You're a Good Fit If You Have:

• Attention to Detail

• Math Skills - Ability to conduct base statics or be trained to use statical software.

• Computer skill should include Word, Excel, and ability to learn Camline data collection software for data analysis and charting

• Knowledge or experience in reading blueprints and measuring parts

• Comfort working in a cleanroom environment

• Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis

Desired Major(s) & Graduation Year:

•Bachelor's or Master's level students with a 2025 to 2026 graduation preferred.
• Mechanical, Materials, Industrial, or Manufacturing Engineering, Chemistry, Physics, or Math Major is preferred
