Job Description:

Infosys is seeking Project Manager . The ideal candidate will have Software Development production experience and strong skills in developing and overseeing software project planning and execution. The project manager will allocate work to project team members, track the project scope, schedule, quality, resource requirements, financials, risks, team's adherence to SLAs on a periodic basis, take corrective measures and communicate to all stake holders as per the communication plan.

Required Qualifications:


  • Candidate must be located within commuting distance of Austin,TX or be willing to relocate to this location prior to Onboarding. This position may require travel in the US.

  • Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.

  • At least 7 years of experience Information Technology

  • At least 5 years of experience in developing web technologies and software platforms for maximum usability

  • Strong attention to deadlines and budgetary guidelines

  • Proven success working with all levels of management

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Excellent presentation skills

  • Build and develop the project team to ensure maximum performance, by providing purpose, direction, and motivation

  • Lead projects from requirements definition through deployment, identifying schedules, scopes, budget estimations, and implementation plans, including risk mitigation.

  • Coordinate internal and external resources to ensure that projects adhere to scope, schedule, and budget.

  • Analyze project status and, when necessary, revise the scope, schedule, or budget to ensure that project requirements can be met

  • Establish and maintain relationships with relevant client stakeholders, providing day-to-day contact on project status and changes .

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Project Tracking, Control & Report, allocate work to project team members, track the project scope, schedule, quality, resource requirements, financials, risks, team's adherence to SLAs on a periodic basis, take corrective measures and communicate to all stakeholders as per the communication plan; schedule, monitor, review and control the effort of project teams in all the project phases

  • Project Scoping and Estimation, facilitate requirement gathering interviews, conduct workshops and issue clarification discussions, review documentation done by team, ensure traceability, follow-up with different teams for obtaining sign-offs from all the stakeholders and own the change management to scope in order to define the project requirements.

  • People Management, participate in recruitment and influence hiring decisions, manage team performance through performance expectation setting, performance reviews and feedback

  • Implement relevant SDLC activities, perform portfolio analysis, plan transition and execute transition activities as per the plan in order to get into the steady-state as agreed with the client.


The job entails extensive amount of travel. The job also entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Should be able to communicate by telephone, email or face to face.
