Under direct supervision, responsible for performing microbiological analysis on raw materials, finished goods, and stability samples as assigned.

Responsibilities:

• Perform non-routine assignments to conduct analysis on product/material samples.




• Use laboratory instrumentation and computer systems to collect and record data. Recognizes malfunctions in laboratory equipment and notifies management.




• Follow all procedures related to data documentation, laboratory safety, and good laboratory practices.




• Bachelor’s degree in Microbiology or related science. Knowledge / Skills / Abilities




• Proficient in Microsoft Office.

Preferred Qualifications:

• At least 1 year of experience in QC and/or R&D microbiology laboratory.




• Experience with testing antimicrobial products/materials. -




• Proficient in LIMS.




• Knowledge of R&D and/or QC Microbiology compendial test methods.




• Able to determine if a gap analysis is necessary.
