JOB SUMMARY:

Responsible for delivering business intelligence, visualization, reporting, and analytics solutions. Collaborate cross-functionally to design, develop, and implement appropriate analytics solutions. Monitor department KPIs and implement solutions to improve the quality and reporting of data. MAJOR

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Develop and implement Business Intelligence solutions.


• Manage the design and development of dashboards that monitor key performance indicators and drive business decisions


• Drive process improvements through the management of Business Intelligence tools, reporting, visualization capabilities, and automation.


• Monitor new technology and data visualization techniques related to Business Intelligence.


• Oversee the management of Medline's data architecture.


• Management responsibilities include: 


• Typically oversees professional employees/teams OR typically manages non-professional employees through Supervisors in manufacturing, distribution or office environments


• Day-to-day operations of a group of employees.


• May have limited budgetary responsibility and usually contributes to budgetary impact;


• Interpret and execute policies for departments/projects and develops. 


• Recommend and implement new policies or modifications to existing policies.


• Provide general guidelines and parameters for staff functioning. 


• Hiring staff, recommending pay increases, performing performance reviews, training and development of staff, estimating personnel needs, assigning work, meeting completion dates, interpreting and ensuring consistent application of organizational policies.

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Math, Business, or related degree.

Work Experience

• 4+ years of experience in Business Intelligence or data analytics.


• 4+years of dashboard development experience, Tableau or other similar technology.


• 4+ years of experience levering SQL for data analysis and performance tuning.


• 4+ years of experience analyzing and reporting data in order to identify issues, trends, or exceptions to drive improvement of results and find solutions. - Experience working with cross-functional teams and facilitating teams to identify and implement solutions to complex problems.


• Experience using time management skills such as prioritizing/organizing and tracking details and meeting deadlines of multiple projects with varying completion dates.

PREFERRED JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Experience directly managing people, including hiring, developing, motivating and directing them as they work.
