Job Description:

We're seeking a General Manager to join the vibrant team here at PrairieFire Coffee Roasters, a dynamic player in the coffee and tea beverage sector! As we expand, we are on the lookout for a dedicated and experienced General Manager to lead our Springfield, MO area team!

The PrairieFire General Manager will be the driving force behind business growth, overseeing sales, customer acquisition, and managing the day-to-day operations of the dealership. This role requires a leader who can inspire a team, build strong customer relationships, and ensure the highest level of service.

Responsibilities:


  • Collaborate with the Area Manager to establish realistic sales goals and annual revenue budgets.

  • Cultivate relationships with existing customers and explore opportunities for new business through strategic sales activities.

  • Manage day-to-day operations, including the efficient delivery of coffee and tea products, as well as service for our customers.

  • Hire, train, and manage route sales and service staff, ensuring smooth operations. 

  • Implement and enforce company policies, uphold brand values, and ensure a positive work environment.

  • Develop plans to maximize revenue growth in all product lines.

  • Provide regular assessments of sales staff productivity and collaborate on improvement strategies.

  • Coordinate resources for efficient sales results, including budgeting for promotions and trade show expenses.

  • Monitor key performance indicators, making data-driven decisions to enhance service performance and profitability.

  • Manage vehicle maintenance, repairs, and cleanliness for the dealership fleet.

  • Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging technologies for innovation.

Qualifications:


  • Minimum of five years of business-to-business/outside sales experience or equivalent education.

  • Proven managerial experience overseeing multiple team members.

  • Required overnight travel, on occasion.

  • Strong interpersonal skills to build effective relationships at all levels.

  • Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.

  • Leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a diverse team.

  • Experience in developing marketing and sales strategies.

  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.

  • Ability to pass a background check and pre-employment drug screen.

  • Valid Driver’s License and acceptable driving record check for operating a company vehicle.

  • Knowledge of coffee industry trends, customer preferences, and delivery logistics.

  • Results-oriented with a focus on high-quality customer service and business profitability.
