Job Description:

In 1917, the University of Oklahoma's School of Public and Private Business was one of the first schools west of the Mississippi River to be accredited by AACSB International. This formed into the College of Business Administration in 1928, which was named the Michael F. Price College of Business in 1997 in honor of Michael F. Price, a major benefactor and graduate of the school (BBA 1973). In Fall of 2017, the Graduate School of Business was renamed the Gene Rainbolt Graduate School of Business (GSB), relocating to a new 27,000 square-foot flagship facility located in the heart of Oklahoma City at OU's University Research Park on the Health Sciences Center campus. Strategically anchored between the downtown energy and financial sectors to the west and the growing healthcare and aerospace sectors to the east, the facility is now home to OU's Full-time, Professional, and Online MBA programs. Reporting to the Director of MBA Recruiting and Admissions, the Sr. MBA Admissions and Reporting Coordinator will be an integral part of a high functioning team that is looking to grow its inquiry and applicant pool and increase the quality of incoming students to the MBA programs. This position is key to developing, implementing, evaluating, and driving specific strategies and processes to enhance enrollment management in the MBA programs. The MBA Program facility is located on the Oklahoma City campus. This position is eligible for a hybrid work arrangement, if desired.


Essential Duties



  • Provides information and counseling to prospective students

  • Researches, collects, and analyzes data or information and prepares reports or responses to inquires.

  • Serves as liaison with offices on and off campus.

  • Provides information and counseling to students, facilitating support groups, and advising student organizations.

  • Oversees data and record maintenance, to include but not limited to student files, inventory, personnel, and other office files.

  • Attends events or meetings and serves on committees.

  • May assist in the management of day-to-day operations or supervise program staff

  • Performs various duties as needed to successfully fulfill the function of the position.

Required Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree, AND: 



  • 12 months in student programming, student services, or closely related experience


Equivalency Substitution: Will accept 48 months related experience in lieu of the Bachelors degree for a total of 60 months experience.


Skills:



  • Ability to communicate verbally and in writings.

  • Composition and proofreading skills.

  • Computer skills, including proficiency in navigating and maintaining databases.

  • Detail oriented for accuracy of data and information.

  • Highly organized and ability to handle multiple projects and deadlines.

  • Ability to communicate well and build rapport with students, faculty, and staff.

  • Ability to read and interpret policy as well as State and Federal regulations.

  • Extremely strong interpersonal and customer service skills.

  • Willingness to help others.

  • Experience using Salesforce and/or Slate is preferred.

  • Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues to create a results-driven team environment.

  • Self-starter with a confident can-do attitude and high level of discernment for prioritizing.

  • Effective public speaking skills. Experience in enrollment planning, recruiting and/or marketing and communications preferred
