Independence is hiring a Program Analyst to work in our exciting Medicare Advantage and ACA area. The Program Analyst will oversee a provider-facing application with a focus on program oversight. This includes data analytics in order to assist providers through inquiry support, deliver training, develop communications, review financials, track KPIs, and monitor and evaluate the program. To be successful in this role, you should be able to derive insights from large amounts of data that support and guide optimal program performance.


Responsibilities:



  • Responsible to implement and manage one or more programs designed to improve our Medicare and ACA (Affordable Care Act) members experience with our health plan and the overall health care system to support risk accuracy initiatives and improve STARS rating

  • Develop reporting and analytics to monitor program performance, drive outcomes and meet goals

  • Evaluate the operational and financial effectiveness of the program, and provide regular summary of program status and enhancement options

  • Manage relationships with internal business partners, external vendors, providers, contracts, and SLAs


QUALIFICATIONS



  • Bachelor’s in Business, Finance, Information Systems, related field, or equivalent work experience.  Master’s Degree preferred.

  • Minimum 3+ years of relevant experience

  • Strong analytical, technical, and problem-solving skills

  • Good presentation, oral and written communication skills

  • Program, project, or contract management experience

  • Experience analyzing large data sets

  • Knowledge of Medicare/ACA Risk Adjustment and/or Medical Record Retrieval preferred

  • Proficient experience in Microsoft Office Suite, Tableau, SQL Data Tools, or ETL Application Software



Must have an Android or iOS device which is compatible with the free Microsoft Authenticator app.


Independence has implemented a “Hybrid” model which consists of Associates working in the office 3 days a week (Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday) and remotely 2 days a week (Monday & Friday). This role is designated as a role that fits into the “Hybrid” model. While associates may work remotely on our designated remote days, the work must be performed in the Tri-State Area of Delaware, New Jersey or Pennsylvania.
