Primary Purpose of the Role:

Delivers essential raw materials, safely and efficiently to each work center, as well as moves finished product to the proper location once the job is completed.

• Safely and efficiently operate all necessary equipment, systems and processes
• Monitors, retrieves, transports, and stores raw materials, finished product and recycling/waste
• Completes a pre-operation checklist on forklift, and roll clamp daily to identify mechanical problems and report to Lead or Supervisor
• Operates radio frequency devices to make product transfers in an accurate & efficient manner
• Communicates with office on quantities that are incorrect (Inventory Control)
• Assists operators, maintenance, etc. with jobs that require two people (bowls, plates, napkins, etc.)
• Changes out LP tanks and checks connections on batteries, reporting defects to Lead or Supervisor.
• Provides support to utility, as needed, through good housekeeping by sweeping floors, picking up debris, and emptying garbage
• Loads and unloads trucks (scrap, skid, table cover etc.)
• Must follow GMP and SQF guidelines and report any food safety issues to your supervisor
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Foster a positive work environment.

Job Specifications:

• High school diploma or GED equivalent
• Factory experience preferred but not a requirement

• Position requires learning to drive mechanical trucks/forklifts/clamps
• Ability to operate a forklift properly and safely
• Ability to do basic math
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team environment

Compensation:

The starting pay for this role is $19.50 an hour.

• Any employee who works between the hours 6p-6a is eligible for a $1.00/hr shift premium. (added to your base pay)
• All employees who work the night shift receive an additional 40 hours of vacation
• Yearly attendance bonus opportunity

• Yearly anniversary date bonus

• Automatic enrollment in our 401(k) with details to follow at orientation.
