Here’s What You’ll Get To Do

• Obtain the shipping schedule from the Supervisor.


• Locate the product in the facility and load the trailer in the manner that best suits the type of load. Load production on the truck in the reverse order of the route.


• Handle product in a safe manner that will not cause damage to the product or injury to self or others. Move packed product utilizing a forklift, sidewinder, or pallet jack.


• Recognize product defects and notify supervisor immediately of any issues.

 

What We’re Looking For

• Must be at least 18 years of age and be able to work safely in a manufacturing environment


• Ability to read and interpret basic mathematical measurements and effectively read a tape measure to 1/32”.


• An uncompromising safety-first approach in the workplace.  At OBE we have each other’s back.


• Must be able to work in a fast paced environment with minimal direct supervision


• Regular and predictable attendance, the safe performance of tasks, and adherence to all safety policies and procedures are essential functions of the job

Physical Requirements

• Requires ability to tolerate constant standing and walking as well as frequent reaching and bending at the waist


• Must be able to lift an average of 50 to 75 lbs. on a regular basis


• Must be able to stand and walk on a concrete floor for eight or more hours


• The shop floor working environment is subject to unusually warm temperatures during the summer months. Must be able to work in temperatures consistent with same outdoor climate conditions of the region (Heat, humidity, etc.)
