This is a MES Systems Analyst position requiring focus on Manufacturing Systems with frequent user interaction. Responsibilities include PLC support and troubleshooting, application support, troubleshooting system related issues and providing technical support in all aspects of shop floor systems (MES, SPC, PLC integration, etc).
Job Responsibilities
Provide support for existing systems
Support IT Systems Analyst in projects as needed
Gain understanding of manufacturing processes and apply this knowledge to existing and new systems solutions
Work cross functionally with Engineering, Maintenance, and Operations on a daily basis to identify, troubleshoot, and solve issues
Identify and follow through on opportunities for process and systems enhancements
Self-motivated, willing and able to quickly understand the environment, and work hands on to solve business issues
Create and program Human Machine Interface (HMI) applications
Provide 24/7 support on an on-call rotation basis
Travel up to 20% within the United States as projects require

Required Education and Experience
Must possess one of the following:
High School Diploma from an accredited institution and 7 years experience working with shop floor systems
OR a Bachelor's Degree in computer science, electrical engineering, or a similar field
Preferred Education and Experience
Degree in a technical discipline such as Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, etc
Technical experience in a manufacturing environment
Strong analytical and written/verbal communication skills
Self-starter, curious, and inquisitive
Ability to quickly learn new technologies and apply them in real world environments
Ability to learn and apply software development for shop floor applications
Ability to work in both office and production settings
Basic knowledge of PLC Ladder Logic (Rockwell solutions)
Basic knowledge of shop floor systems platforms (eg WonderWare or Rockwell)
Exposure to Statistical Process Control tools (eg InfinityQS Proficient)
Exposure to end-to-end print solutions (eg Direct Print, Print & Apply)
Experience with software development (eg C#, MS SQL)
Working Conditions
• Occasional exposure to industrial operations including: temperature extremes from approximately 35°F to 100°F; noise levels in excess of 85 dB; moisture and moving machinery.
• Work is performed in an office setting.
