Job Description:


RESPONSIBILITIES:

Kforce is looking for a highly skilled QA Analyst in Leawood, KS to join one of our top clients and play a key role in their cloud migration journey to Microsoft Azure. In this role, you will leverage your expertise developing test cases, logging test findings and development of test summaries/test reports.

Responsibilities:


  • QA Analyst will develop and execute comprehensive test plans

  • Perform thorough testing of migrated applications and services, ensuring they function as intended within the environment

  • Focus heavily on UI and front-end testing

  • Conduct integration testing to ensure migrated applications communicate effectively with other systems and services

  • Develop and maintain test cases using appropriate tools (e.g., ALM, Visual Studio) to ensure complete and effective test coverage

  • Document test findings meticulously using clear and concise language

  • Create comprehensive test summaries and reports to communicate testing progress, identify defects, and provide clear recommendations for remediation

  • As a QA Analyst, you will develop and maintain automated test scripts using VB or other scripting languages to improve test efficiency and reduce manual execution time

  • Integrate automation scripts into the overall testing process for continuous regression testing and early defect detection







REQUIREMENTS:



  • Mid-level QA analyst experience required

  • Experience with ALM, MS SQL, Visual Studio, VB, GitHub

  • Automation testing experience required

  • Experience with Microsoft SQL for data access and manipulation during testing

  • Solid understanding of QA best practices for software testing, including E2E testing, UI/front-end testing, and integration testing

  • Familiarity with version control systems like GitHub for code management and collaboration

  • Proficiency in test automation tools and scripting languages (e.g., VB, potentially others based on client environment)

  • Development of test summaries/test reports

  • Ability to manage and/or understand testing aspects E2E required

  • Experience with ALM preferred but not required

  • Knowledge of Cloud transition testing a plus






The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.



We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
