Job Description:

The Strategic Account Manager- Marine Coatings is a remote-based, inside sales role responsible for sales lead qualification, management of a dedicated book of business, and growing new business for Protective and Marine Coatings unit!

You will be responsible for the Florida territory.

Can you maintain close working relationships with leads given to contractors and field sales?

Key Responsibilities


  • Initiate daily phone sales presentations to targeted accounts and prospective customers.

  • Ensure all leads are closed in the CRM while forecasting revenue projections for assigned accounts.

  • Increase existing customer share to meet sales expectations and build relationships with new customers to increase the potential business opportunities.

  • Collaborate with other departments and personnel to address customer issues and needs.

  • Resolve incoming inquiries by phone, email, and chat from new or prospective customers, ensure customers are directed to appropriate network for resolution.

Qualifications


  • Bachelors degree with 5+ years prior experience with phone sales, inside sales, and customer service.

  • Knowledge of CRM software applications with experience maintaining data in such systems is encouraged.

  • Demonstrate general knowledge of polyurea, epoxy, urethane and other protective coatings/lining, sealants including application and general uses.

  • Marine industry, cruise ship industry experience, preferred

  • Bi-lingual (Spanish or Greek), preferred

  • 50% travel required
