PPG's SSG-OLED Process Development provides cutting-edge solutions and services to our client Universal Display Corporation (UDC), driving progress and efficiency in OLED Process Development activities. We pride ourselves in our commitment to excellence, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

The Quality and Technical Liaison will serve as the crucial link between PPG's SSG-OLED Process Development and our client (UDC) early sourcing activities. This role requires a blend of technical expertise, project management skills, and exceptional communication abilities to ensure successful alignment in our early development activities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinates the technical transfer of new product information including detailed specifications, complex syntheses, and analytical methods between PPG, UDC and suppliers.


• Collaborates with process development chemists to provide technical feedback on impurity observations and trends


• As a member of the Research and Development team, participates in developing and implementing strategies to support bringing new products expeditiously to market.


• Act as the primary point of contact for client regarding early-stage sourcing inquiries, raw material updates and delivery timelines.


• Gather and analyze client requirements and shares them with the technical team to translate into technical specifications development projects.


• Work closely with project managers, technical teams, the client and vendors to ensure that raw materials are delivered on time, within scope, per specification and within budget.


• Collect and maintain comprehensive project documentation, including specifications tech transfer packages (TTP) for all new raw materials.


• Identify opportunities for improvements and recommend solutions to enhance the overall client experience.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in a scientific field, engineering, or a related field.


• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a technical role, preferably in a client-facing capacity.


• Proficiency in MS Office, SAP, a strong understanding of product development lifecycle, and project management methodologies.


• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.


• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.


• Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients and internal teams.


• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.


• A bility to travel up to 20% of the time.
