Description: Our client is currently seeking a Telecommunications Analyst to join the IT Infrastructure Engineering Team. This role will be responsible for reviewing telecommunications expenses, ensuring cost efficiency and accuracy for all of our telecom-related expenses. This position requires strong financial acumen, excellent data analysis skills, and an understanding of telecom systems and technologies.
This job will have the following responsibilities:
Optimizing our telecom expenses, ensuring cost efficiency and accuracy in all telecom-related activities.
Review telecom charges. Audit circuits against locations.
Auditing POTS services.
Documenting and reporting on communication infrastructure.
Scheduling, notifying, and collaborating with internal and external groups.
Preparing analytical reports based on telecom usage.
Provides support for network design activities.
Top Must-Haves:
Knowing the inner-workings and provisioning processes for Telco circuits and services.
Financial acumen, data analysis skills, and telecom systems and technologies.
Tracking expenses and deliverables - time deliverables.
Working with Security operations - coordinate efforts for after hours.
Track costs for profit and loss for equipment.
Required Qualifications:
Associate degree preferred in an Information Technology Discipline OR 4 years of technical training in related field
Minimum of two (2) years of job-related experience
MS Excel, MS Word experience
Project Management experience
Possesses an intermediate level of understanding of telecommunications principles, standards, and protocols and troubleshooting telecommunications infrastructure.
Preferred Qualifications:
Familiarity with Cloud Based transport and technologies.
CCNA Desired.
