Position Details:



Summary of Duties:


Support a research laboratory with the primary goal of assisting in the various research projects on food ingredients and product samples. This includes using correct testing protocols, designing and executing laboratory testing, and recording experimental data and test results. Following safety guidelines and laboratory protocols for recordkeeping, equipment maintenance and ordering laboratory supplies.





Required Qualifications:




  • A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field of study or equivalent related field experience performing professional-level work with scientific or clinical research protocols. Any combination of relevant education and experience may be substituted for the educational requirement on a year-for-year basis.




  • Experimental and analytical skills;




  • Understanding and knowledge of research theory;




  • Interviewing experience;




  • Excellent organizational and project management skills.

Monthly Salary:

In accordance with RCW 49.58.110, the above salary reflects the full salary range for this position. Individual placement within the range is based on the candidate's current experience, education, skills, and abilities related to the position.
