Job Description:

The Supply Chain Services Analyst provides process support in areas with complexity & cross-functional dependencies across Supply Chain functions, as well as connected/dependent Departments such as Accounting, Marketing, Sales, Regulatory, & FSQA. This position will lead & coordinate initiatives that deliver results across all Supply Chain functions including Planning, Procurement, Transportation & Warehousing.

- This is a Salary Exempt Position.

Center of Excellence- Support execution against Supply Chain data projects and requests including intake, vetting, prioritization, resource planning and communication of project the backlog. Participate in defining processes to effectively support Supply Chainwide holistic reporting needs.

Reporting & Insights (functional area within Supply Chain)- Support regular maintenance & refresh of a portfolio of regular reports, metrics & dashboards that deliver insights in one of Simmons Supply Chain functional areas (Transportation, Warehousing, Planning or Procurement). Work with key internal stakeholders to understand adoption, usage and areas needing development (break/fix plus enhancements).

Process Support (across Supply Chain functional areas)- provide secondary/back-up support in additional functional areas of Supply Chain reporting & insights. Execute process & report refreshes, test Standard Work Instructions, and provide cross-functional support in new development projects.

Inventory Management- Support delivery of holistic Inventory reporting views in support of the management of at-risk inventory across: Expiring, No Movement/Slow Movement, & Days of Supply (DOS) against targets by subcategory. Calibrate Inventory reporting & processes between Divisions and across Finished Goods, Direct Materials & Indirect Materials.

Participates as a member of the Team. Participates in the ongoing development, communication and implementation of team concepts, programs and policies; coordinates work to ensure best practices with all team members. Attends appropriate team meetings. As a member of the Team, fosters strong cohesiveness regarding all major issues; e.g., direction, annual plan, budget, policy changes, etc. Accepts responsibility to quickly identify any areas that lack cohesiveness, bringing them to the attention of the team leader and working with the team in a supportive manner to resolve issues and actively look for ways, and reinforce actions needed, to achieve synergy possible within the larger organization.

Simmons Operating systems principles and objectives: Is familiar with Simmons' established operating systems (e.g. quality, security, office environment, company policies, LEAN); understands the responsibility to maintain familiarity with the systems and this position's role in support of these systems - including a consideration of the impact of individual actions on the systems and the responsibility to communicate concerns and improvement ideas.

Physical Activities: Enters and locates information on a computer. Visually verifies information, often in small print. Communicates with Customers, Vendors, or Employees via telephone, in person, and/or electronic mail. May present information to small or large groups. Must be able to work in various temperatures. Move about in a manufacturing environment, office environment, and surrounding property.

Personal Protective Equipment (PPE): As needed in required environment.

Travel: May travel within North America to and from multiple facilities or work-sites, requiring overnight stays. Up to 15%.

Technical Experience: 2 years or more technical experience combined working across the following systems & processes preferred. ERP platform experience in Oracle and/or JDE. Visualization design &build experience in Tableau, Oracle Analytics Cloud or other reporting platform experience. Process driven mindset and ability to drive efficiency gains through automation and delivered sustainable, systemic driven solutions that were adopted by the organization. Ability to foster and develop relationships with cross functional teams and leverage those relationships to deliver business results. Strong communication skills (written, verbal and presentation). High level of competency in Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, OneNote, etc.).

Minimum Education: Bachelor's degree in related field or 4 years' equivalent experience.
