Job Description

The Senior Director of Global Media will play a pivotal role in shaping and executing Bose's paid media strategy. This senior leadership position requires a strategic thinker with a proven ability to drive brand health metrics and performance media revenue. The ideal candidate will be a seasoned media expert with a track record of success in managing substantial media budgets and achieving measurable results.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Leadership:


  • Develop and implement a holistic paid media strategy that aligns with Bose's overall marketing and business objectives.

  • Oversee the planning and execution of integrated media campaigns to drive brand awareness, consideration, and conversion.

  • Set and manage annual media budgets, ensuring efficient and effective allocation of resources across all channels.

  • Manage relationships with external agencies and media partners, driving accountability and performance.

  • Stay ahead of industry trends and emerging technologies to keep Bose at the forefront of media innovation.

Brand Media


  • Oversee paid media efforts to enhance key brand health metrics, including awareness, brand relevancy and purchase consideration.

  • Partner with content and creative teams to ensure cohesive and impactful brand messaging across all media touchpoints.

Performance & Retail Media


  • Oversee team of professionals managing performance and retail media initiatives, including paid search, paid display, and affiliate marketing, to drive traffic, conversions, and revenue growth for DTC and priority resellers.

  • Utilize advanced analytics and marketing technologies to continuously refine and improve performance media campaigns.

Reporting and Insights:


  • Partner with Analytics lead to develop a robust reporting framework to measure effectiveness of paid media campaigns and develop actionable insights to inform strategic decision-making and future media planning.

  • Present media performance and strategic initiatives to the executive team and key stakeholders.

Qualifications:


  • 15+ years of experience in media planning and buying, with significant experience in a senior leadership role.

  • Demonstrated success in managing large-scale brand media campaigns and driving key brand health metrics.

  • Expertise in performance media, including paid search, paid display, retail media and affiliate marketing, with a strong analytical and data-driven approach.

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Advertising, Business, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.

  • Exceptional strategic thinking and leadership skills, with the ability to influence and drive cross-functional initiatives.

  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.

  • Strong understanding of the latest trends and best practices in digital marketing and media.
