How will you make an impact


This role will directly impact our mission of making the world healthier by providing Life Science Solutions group technologies to nucleic acid therapeutic customers on a clinical and commercial supply basis for the development & manufacturing of customer's life-changing therapies.


What will you do


Develop and drive sales strategies to meet and expand the business in the assigned region.
Identify and evaluate potential new business opportunities to sell the company's products and capabilities to therapeutic customers to facilitate our customer's cGMP-manufacturing goals. Communicate opportunities which may be out of scope.
Initiate and develop productive customer relationships in multiple functions (e.g R&D, MS&T, production, procurement, quality, regulatory affairs) and build network of contacts (scientist, project manager, manager and executive levels) to ensure comprehensive customer engagement.
Implement account plans and actively lead cross-functional teams to move forward customer opportunities that include adept coordination of field application scientist, legal, etc.
Reliably uses selling expertise to leverage points of agreement to address objectives in a way that develops consensus and commitment for moving forward to close the sale.
Uncover customer needs, respond to inquiries, and resolve problems in a timely fashion. Investigates product issues and ensures satisfactory resolution of customer complaints.
Maintain accurate reporting, records, and files vital for proper management of region
Travel expectations are 50% within region and 10% globally.
How will you get here


Requires a bachelor's degree in any life science
Advanced degree and/or MBA preferred.
Requires a minimum of 8 years of meaningful experience or 6 years with advanced degree. Prefer 2 years including:


Lead development
Contract development and negotiation
Sales funnel management
Sales to therapeutic companies
Consultative selling
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities


Understanding of the nucleic acid therapeutic markets
Strong understanding of therapeutic development and commercial manufacturing workflows in nucleic acid therapeutics
Ability to work well in a team and matrix atmosphere
Demonstrated proficiency with computer applications, including SFDC, word processing, spreadsheet, and slide presentations required
