In this role, you will be based in our Americas head office in Lone Tree, CO. This role is hybrid, requiring you to be in the office 2 days per week minimum, with 3 days per week working from home.


The Graphic Designer is responsible for taking concepts and ideas and creating visual representations, in both print and electronic media. The ideal candidate will have knowledge of current design software and be skilled in every step of the design process, from concept to final deliverable. Collaborating with multiple teams across the company, the graphic designer should be able to take written or spoken ideas and convert them into a design that connects.



Key Responsibilities



  • Concept, design and deliver creative materials across various mediums, aligning with the overall brand and business objectives. Emphasis on creating smart, compelling presentations.

  • Interface with vendors to communicate specs, discuss project information, and work to prevent and solve production problems.

  • Finalize and prepare all final file formats for various delivery methods, may include but not limited to: packaged print ready files and digital outputs.

  • Research the latest trends in design and stay up to date with industry software, including but not limited to Adobe Creative Cloud and Microsoft Office.

  • Other duties as required.

Required Skills


  • Bachelors or Equivalent Work Experience

  • 2+ Years of Experience

  • Proficient in Adobe Creative Cloud Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, etc.) and Microsoft Office Suite (PowerPoint, Outlook, Word etc.)

  • Strong computer skills with experience in various software packages, including Microsoft Suite and web based applications

  • Ability to work and adapt in a fast-paced environment and balance / manage multiple, changing priorities while maintaining a high level of attention to detail

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong presentation skills, and an ability to adjust communication and messaging to fit the audience

  • Demonstrated strong follow through on commitments and taking responsibility for actions and decisions

  • Approaches projects collaboratively, seeking varied inputs

  • Ability to identify solutions and challenge the status quo to deliver creative solutions

  • Proven ability to work collaboratively and positively in a team environment. Ability to interact effectively across all levels of the organization, establish professional relationships, and communicate openly within the department and with cross-functional teams

  • Degree in Graphic Design/Creative Arts

  • The person in this role must be able to understand directions, product materials and adhere to procedures to be able to answer customer questions whether in person or virtually.

  • The person in this role must use logic to make decisions related to their role. May also need to independently apply abstract principles to solve complex conceptual issues.

  • The person in this role must express or exchange ideas to convey meaning. Some of these exchanges may be to convey Cochlear policies, to gather customer orders, to provide protocols and/or training, to troubleshoot questions, to provide project information, to update on tasks, etc. The communication may occur with internal or external stakeholders and may be in person or virtually. Communication may also occur while using business technology.

  • The person in this role will identify, recognize and compare information, which is used to typically answer a question, process or fill an order, file a claim, analyze data, etc. Individuals are identifying and comparing information to process work accurately. May be used in conjunction with other physical demands such as Use Business Technology.

  • The person in this position is working to observe, assess and/or discern information, whether received virtually, through a variety of communication tools or in person, to meet the patient/ customer the needs. Some examples might include observing a patient, utilizing patient and/or product information to assess and trouble shoot questions, utilizing customer, patient and/or business information to discern policies, procedures and next steps/actions.

  • The person in this role must be able to gather and classify information in order to process customer orders, schedule meetings, prepare reports, etc.

  • Pay Range in the United States: $65,000 - $75,000 based upon experience, as well as an annual bonus opportunity of 7.5% of base salary. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location.
