Description: Our client is currently seeking a Warehouse Manager to drive warehouse and delivery operations within the Anchorage AK market. The Warehouse Manager will be instrumental in strategic planning, optimizing efficiency, managing costs, and maintaining inventory accuracy while ensuring safety compliance and industry standards. Additionally, the Manager will implement continuous improvement initiatives to ensure seamless coordination across departments and corporate teams to ensure success. The ideal candidate will have several years of leadership experience within Shipping & Receiving, Inventory Control, Order Fulfillment and Warehouse Management

This job will have the following responsibilities:
Establish departmental operating schedules, ensuring those all-departmental commitments for product receiving, stowage, truck loading and delivery services are met.
Interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work
Responsible for inventoried items ensuring that they are properly stored in designated locations in order to facilitate access for delivery and that storage guidelines and procedures are observed in order to safeguard the inventory and to maximize product quality and shelf life.
Ensures that regular physical inventories are conducted with product consistently accounted for within the appropriate range.
Directly supervises the maintenance and proper operation of the warehouse conveyor system and all other material handling equipment.
Directly supervises the care, and maintenance of all delivery trucks and vehicles, including communications systems.
Inspect physical conditions of warehouses, vehicle fleets, or equipment and order testing, maintenance, repairs, or replacements.
Participates in a cross functional team focused on cargo security programs and procedures.
Possession of and operating a motor vehicle to access customer accounts for delivery, promotion, and efficient and prompt sales and other key activities.
Qualifications & Requirements:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent preferred,
Five or more years experience in Warehousing / Distribution Operations - Food / Beverage / CPG Industry Preferred
Three to five years previous distribution, transportation and/or warehouse management experience.
Strong Understanding of WMS / TMS
