Administrative Assistant / Scheduler



This position will provide administrative support for Student Affairs to include scheduling, submitting, and reporting on a large volume of course appointments and reservations via telephone, web, email, and in-person utilizing exceptional customer service skills. The incumbent will act as a liaison for School of Nursing, maintains accurate information in a variety of systems and databases, and ensures all records and forms are accurately completed by due date.

The incumbent will coordinate and communicate the administrative aspects of each term's course planning for graduate and undergraduate courses, room reservations, and undergraduate clinical enrollment. The incumbent functions as a liaison among administration, students, faculty, staff and University in a customer-focused, quality-conscious work environment. Responsibilities include assisting staff, supporting record keeping and clinical course requirements, as well as facilitating School of Nursing objectives with efficient and accurate operations.


A bachelor's degree and 1-2 years of experience in academic scheduling or administrative coordination, preferably in higher education, is desired.

Strong organizational and multitasking skills, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and exceptional attention to detail and the ability to adhere to strict deadlines is required.

Proficiency and/or experience with scheduling software tools, such as 25 Live, PeopleSoft, TAMS, EXXAT, and Qualtrics, is a plus.

Work Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:30AM - 5:00PM. 3 days on-site, 2 remote.

Work Arrangement: Hybrid: Combination of On-Campus and Remote work as determined by the department.

Requested Pay Rate: $18.00
