Kimberly-Clark is looking for an ambitious, self-driven and talented individual to lead our Manufacturing Technology (MT) and Process Advancement (PA) efforts for the Enterprise Supply Chain. The incumbent will be at the forefront of driving technological innovation and efficiency in manufacturing processes on a global scale connecting our value stream segments, sectors, platforms, and asset advancements. This role is pivotal in ensuring that manufacturing technology & process strategies align with the overarching goals of the company and in maintaining competitiveness in a global market. The director is expected to be a visionary leader who can navigate the complexities of modern manufacturing and drive the company towards operational excellence.​






Role Accountabilities



  • Develop and execute a global manufacturing technology strategy that aligns with the company's vision and market demands​.

  • Provide leadership to research new process and technology opportunities and identify manufacturing technology development opportunities for new and existing products & processes - Lead the development of strategy and breakthrough technology​.

  • Lead the global manufacturing technology process advancement strategy and strategy deployment process across segments, sectors and product platforms​.

  • Accountable to initiate capital, capacity and cost impact for new technology or processes to optimize the enterprise value streams and to analyze & integrate new business opportunities E2E​.

  • Integrate automation & digital transformation of manufacturing processes to enhance agility, speed, productivity, and eco-efficiency across all product lines​.

  • Create asset strategies that support innovation pathways and insure resiliency of the supply chain through differentiated manufacturing & process solutions​.

  • Facilitate the collaboration with cross-functional teams to integrate consumer insights and market trends into product development and manufacturing advancements​.

  • Manage a diverse and geographically dispersed team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement, best practice sharing/adoption and innovation​.

  • Champion sustainable manufacturing practices and oversee the implementation of eco-friendly technologies and processes​.

  • Build and sustain cross-functional and global relationships to accomplish objectives​.

  • Partner with segment, sector and cross-functional teams to support capital efforts, asset strategies, and technology application to current assets​.

  • Develop talent and processes as part of establishing the enterprise MTPA organization for on-going performance & strength​.






Basic Qualifications



  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field, with a focus on manufacturing or technology management

  • Extensive experience in B2C/B2B manufacturing processes and consumer market dynamics, with a proven track record of driving process improvements

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with proficiency in data-driven decision-making

  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to manage and inspire teams across different cultures and regions.

  • Effective, consistent global communications and stakeholder management skills

  • Experience in end-to-end innovation cycles

  • Strategic thinking with a focus on innovation and continuous improvement.

  • Proficiency in digital manufacturing technologies and data analysis tools.

  • Knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, and other continuous improvement methodologies

  • Occasional travel may be required to support the business (up to 25%)
