Conversion Specialist

The Conversion Specialist will be part of our Conversion team within the PolicyStat division, based out of Carmel, IN. Our PolicyStat division works with our customers to improve healthcare delivery via their organizational playbook: policies and procedures. Over 250,000 Americans die annually because of medical error. Many of these deaths could have been prevented by following best practices for quality. Policies are a hospital's tool for standardizing and implementing these lifesaving best practices.

The Conversion Specialist is a hands-on position working to clean up and mirror formatting from our clients’ original policy and procedure documents into our web-based editor.

Our clients upload their policies and procedures into our PolicyStat product as a new home for their documentation. As a Conversion Specialist, you will clean up these uploads, using the original policies and procedures to mirror and transition formatting and content into a web-based format. This role works within our software editor to ensure that wording, spacing, list and table formatting matches what exists in the documents uploaded.

What You Will Do:

· Work and operate in a web browser, often with multiple tabs open at a time

· Accurately capture and mirror data from source documents

· Apply customer-specific and general guidelines for formatting and editing

· Apply sound judgment to determine proper guideline adherence

· Extract metadata from source Word/PDF documents

· Confirm quality of data capture against source documents and required guidelines

Skills/Experience/Competencies You Will Need:

· Excellent attention to detail, especially in written form

· Strong reading comprehension skills, emphasizing deduction and application of detailed guidelines

· Excellent written communication skills

· Ability to work in a fast pace of work

· Experience utilizing the Microsoft Suite of products (Word, Excel) and a PDF reader

· Experience navigating through web browsers

· Dedication to teamwork and collaboration

· Strong commitment to producing quality output

Position Details:

· Hybrid work schedule based out of the Carmel, IN office
