Ensures the security and integrity of all systems and data throughout the University and campuses. Facilitates and enhances secure infrastructure, technologies, tools, and strategies for elevated system security. Conducts security tests and responds to security threats effectively.
Must have the ability to work with PC related hardware/software and telephony systems. Must have good written and verbal communication skills, as well as, analytical, organizational, planning, and strong leadership skills. Proficient knowledge of IT.
Generally sedentary desk work with computer-keyboard-video phone other than traveling to other buildings on campus for meetings/events on occasion. Must be able to sit or stand for prolonged periods of time.
Travel to other cities for conferences may occur on occasion.
