Our client is seeking a Field Technicians in Marietta, GA.


Role Description


Purpose: Field Service Technicians respond to customer callouts, offering technical service and maintenance support at customer locations. They are responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing equipment out in the field, as well as providing technical training when necessary.


Duties and Responsibilities:


Ticket Management:
• Work on tickets received from our call center, efficiently solving issues related to maintenance, assembly, or configuration (M/A/C).
• Update and close tickets promptly once issues are resolved.


Special Projects:
• Collaborate with the Field Service Manager on special projects as needed.
• Installation and Testing:
• Install and test products and equipment at customer sites.
• Provide clear instructions to customers on the proper usage of our products.


Technical Skills:
• Run cabling, connectorize cables, and splice fiber as required.
• Utilize diagnostic tools to identify and troubleshoot issues effectively.
• Possess basic network knowledge and familiarity with Mikrotik devices.


Flexibility:
• Be open to travel within and out of state as necessary.
• Participate in an on-call rotation every 7 weeks.


Skills & Requirements


• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Relevant technical certifications preferred.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
