Our Technical Support Analyst will have a passion for customer service, performing analysis, a dedication to quality and continuous improvement of high-quality applications solutions and supporting processes in a DevOps culture employing agile development practices. You will be playing a critical role in supporting CSG's business-critical software solutions to the delight of our end-customers. You will have the opportunity to make meaningful contributions to and with a team of people including other talented analysts, development engineers, operational engineers, test engineers, DBAs, product owners, and scrum masters. We are looking for a Technical Support Analyst who will:



  • Provide direct first line contact and support to internal and external customers for application administration activities

  • Lead small project implementations collaborating with other teams and customers

  • Provide Vantage Data Store domain knowledge expertise and direction for team members and external contacts

  • Provide simple and complex SQL query support to clients in support of their business needs

  • Actively participate in a self-organized agile team to prioritize and manage a large workload of development, maintenance, and support activities, continuously delivering high-quality results in an iterative fashion

  • Research, analyze, design and document solutions providing guidance to development of features, fixes, and enhancements

  • Perform troubleshooting in effort to assist in resolving application/data issues working with client support and operations partners as necessary - sometimes in non-business hours

  • Be a source of basic understanding of all Vantage product data processing as well as client data extract processing

  • Adhere to CSG and team policies and practices of secure development, code management, change management, and incident management

  • Learn and adapt to new technologies




Is this opportunity right for you? We are looking for candidates who have:



  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent practical experience

  • 2+ years of experience in a customer focused support role

  • Proficiency with SQL in relational databases

  • Experience with *nix OS, RedHat and/or OEL including shell scripting skills

  • Experience in a DevOps culture with focus on continuous integration, test automation, automated deployments, and monitoring/alerting telemetry

  • Strong communication skills, ensuring understanding of both verbal and written material

Position Pay Range:



This range represents the low and high end of the salary range for this position. Actual salaries will vary based on factors including but not limited to geographical location and experience.
$64,938.52-$103,901.85


This role is eligible for a bonus opportunity.
