Position: Product Safety Technician
Department: Engineering
Work Location: Marlborough, MA 100% Onsite
What you will be doing:
The Agency Compliance Tech is responsible for conducting Tests per Agency Compliance standards and completing test data reports. Provides manual and physical labor support for activities associated with the Engineering Services Group.
Updating Daily Logs
Documenting Activities
Understand and follow the Helen of Troy Management System as it pertains to the Safety Agency Compliance requirements.
Performs testing under the direction of the Safety Engineer for the Beauty BU per UL 859 and CSA C22.2 No. 36, CSA C22.2# 60335-1, CSA C22.2# 60335-2-23:2021
Follows a routine based on established methods and procedures.
Skills needed to be successful in this role:
Multi-tasking, time management, efficiency, relationship building, and collaboration skills.
Able to work under pressure and meet aggressive deadlines.
Minimum Qualifications:
High School Diploma or General Equivalency Diploma.
2+ years of Safety Agency Compliance experience testing products in a consumer product manufacturer laboratory or Safety Agency laboratory.
Solid proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and Windows-based software.
Authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.
