Rice Business, the business school at Rice University, is seeking a creative copywriter to produce engaging communications to promote our programs and increase visibility of the school. This position would report to the Editor of Rice Business Publications/Director of Communications and would be responsible for writing copy for advertising campaigns, marketing materials, web copy and blog posts with knowledge of search engine optimization (SEO) best practices. The copywriter will also support other team members in brainstorming, drafting, proofing and fact-checking social copy and internal communications efforts, as well as articles in Rice Business magazine and Rice Business Wisdom. This is a hybrid position for the next two years as Rice Business undergoes a building project with expectations of flexible on-site work beginning in 2026.

Workplace Requirements :
Beginning Summer 2024 Rice Business will undergo a building project with expectations of flexible on-site work through 2026. This position is offered as a hybrid role, combining both in-office and remote work to provide flexibility and support collaboration.

Hiring Range: $60,000 commensurate with experience
*Exempt (salaried) positions under FLSA are not eligible for overtime.
