Job Description:

IT Operational Management
* Oversee performance of third-party Managed Service Providers and Managed Security Service Providers. Monitoring of service agreement performance, including MSP delegated responsiblity for all hardware and network administration, end user helpdesk, data back-up and retention, and other duties as documented.
* Responsible for ensuring overall IT infrastructure and Information Systems are compatible, secure, meet the current needs of the company, and are routinely upgraded or expanded to meet future needs.
* Lead IT project mangement.
* Conduct business analysis for future major IT projects, collecting business requirements from internal stakeholders, shaping the project demand, prioritizing various IT projects against needs of business and budget allocation. Execute and/or monitor delegated execution of IT projects.
* Coordinate with software lead users for administration of company utilized software packages. Approve requested software purchases against budget and oversee security testing and deployment of software to end users.
* Develop and/or approve recommended end user hardware specifications.
* Coordinate with local Office Managers regarding IT hardware administration, end user set-up, or local IT project needs.
* Ensure accurate inventory lists of all hardware, software, and system users are maintained.
* Perform routine audits of MSP generated reports, including device and user inventory; device security patches are active and current; review of priviledged administrative actions performed by MSPs; review of personnel within Active Directory permission groups; any other reports necessary for overall management of IT.
* Draft and submit Incident Reports as necessary to capture adverse incidents impacting company's information systems.
* Document and evaluate change management activities, for material changes impacting the company's IT infrastructure and information systems.
* Conduct security and risk assessments, prior to implementing changes to company's information systems. Maintain records of completed assessments.
* Lead disaster recovery efforts on behalf of company, as coordinated with MSPs. Ensure disaster recovery plans are maintained and routinely communicated to relevant stakeholders.
