Where you'll lead the charge in developing, supporting, and maintaining crucial computer applications and databases that power Southwest Power Pool's daily operations and services. Picture yourself at the forefront of innovation, researching, designing, and meticulously documenting systems and applications while actively seeking out opportunities to automate and streamline departmental processes.
Your main responsibility will be to prioritize Facilities and Security, our foremost clients. Envision yourself as the diligent overseer of our physical security and surveillance systems, ensuring their continuous top-notch performance. You'll delve into custom applications, refining code to eliminate bugs and implement impactful enhancements.

Work Environment:
This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.
Position Location:
This is a hybrid position with a requirement for a minimum of 2-3 days onsite in Little Rock, Arkansas.
Position Type and Expected Hours of Work:
This is a full-time position. Days and hours of workweek are Monday through Friday; 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Working extended hours may be required.
This role includes a 24/7 on-call rotation. You can anticipate being on call for our most critical applications for one week every 6-7 weeks, requiring availability around the clock.
Travel Requirement:
This position requires moderate travel (approximately 10%).
