Summary:


The main focus points of the Inside Sales Manager are to build a high performing team, ensure the Inside Sales team delivers the required KPI’s and is committed to converting sales to generate new units, RMR and bookings. Establish and monitor efficient workflows and meet service levels, while managing schedules. Maintain a positive work environment and assist team members to develop and be successful in their roles.


What You’ll Do:




  • Sales Management:  Work with Business Unit Leaders to determine annual sales quotas and expectations.

    • In turn, develop and implement sales strategies to ensure your team meets planned unit, booking, and RMR quotas.




  • Team Management:  Provide leadership, development, and coaching of Inside Sales Reps. 

    • Manage sales pipeline and ensure reps are following up on leads. 

    • Actively engage in and support the development of the team to ensure problems are identified and resolved, action plans are completed, and process improvements are developed and implemented. 

    • Create and review sales reports to ensure team is meeting productivity levels. 

    • Continually review KPI's and SLAs are met or exceeded. 

    • Review/revise schedules to meet the needs of the department. 

    • Analyze activity volume (voice, chat, SMS, email). 




  • Financial Management:  Meet or exceed departmental financial objectives through forecasting and estimating. 

    • Prepare annual department budget, review expenses, analyze variances, and develop plans for corrective action.   




  • Staffing: Ensure staffing levels are met and maintained, and participate in the recruiting and hiring process, as needed. 

    • Work with your HR Business Partner relative to performance management, counseling, coaching, employee relations.




  • Customer Contact:  Handle customer escalations, as needed.


What You’ll Need:




  • Bachelor's degree in business management or related discipline:

    • Minimum of 4-years' management or sales experience. 

    • Extensive knowledge and experience in all facets of business management.

    • Must have Human Resources, Payroll, and Leadership Training.




  • Communication Skills:

    • Able to intelligently communicate (verbal and written) to internal and external Customers and Management.




  • Decision Making:

    • Able to make the sound and accurate decisions that will affect the team’s functionality and ability to grow. 

    • Able to make employment decisions regarding Hiring, Termination, Promotion, Counseling, Mentoring, and administering disciplinary actions as may be required.




  • Organization Skills:

    • Able to manage multiple projects and team members and adapt to a fast-changing environment.

    • Able to meet Customer (Internal and External) deadlines.




  • Microsoft Systems:

    • Company-specific software for CRM and scheduling. 

    • Able to become proficient in these business systems to demonstrate competency with company specific processes and procedure.

    • Manage customer contact and case volume.




  • Technical Skills:

    • Possess knowledge of security system design and troubleshooting. 

    • Complete ADC certification within 90 days.  




  • Confidentiality:

    • Able to maintain confidential company and personnel information.

    • Possess a high level of Integrity.




  • Reasoning Ability:

    • Able to apply a common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished both written and verbally to assess applicants’ and candidates’ presentations to fit both intermediate- and long-term recruiting needs.




  • Licenses/Certifications:

    • Able to obtain and maintain state licenses and technical certification as needed to access customer accounts.




  • Remote Workplace:

    • Able to work from home (Vector-provided equipment) without distraction. 

    • Able to lead team members through any challenges of working remotely.
