About the Role

As a BIFG Planner, you'll collaborate closely with various stakeholders within the Supply Chain to ensure the seamless availability of finished goods. Your primary responsibilities include planning and ordering, providing supplier forecasts, identifying and addressing operational and strategic risks and maintaining healthy stock levels. You'll work alongside the Business Units, Procurement and warehouses to manage phase-in/phase-out processes, minimize and address leftover inventory and facilitate communication with Markets. Additionally, you'll oversee the placement and tracking of Purchase Orders, foster strong partnerships with suppliers, and ensure process standardization across different divisions and countries. Ensuring up-to-date master data in the system is also crucial to your role.

What You Will Do


  • Plan finished goods using SAP in line with leadtimes and minimum order quantities

  • Provide forecasts to suppliers that enable raw materials and capacity to be secured in line with Essity requirements 

  • Collaborate with various departments to mitigate potential product shortages  

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, contributing to their operational performance evaluations in monthly Vendor Logistics Reviews.  

  • Coordinate with different functions to minimize raw material write-offs and manage phase-in/phase-out processes on finished goods.  

  • Actively contribute to new projects aimed at improving operational efficiency and reducing costs.  

  • Analyze and update safety stock levels for BIFG articles 

  • Ensure accurate and up-to-date master data in the system 

  • Perform RCA and countermeasures for BIFG service level failures 

  • Provide feedback on potential new business possibilities and timelines  

  • Collaborate with BIFG Supply Managers on longer term constraints or shortages in supply through VLR’s and agree resolutions.   

  • Provide information and contribute to PIPO activities and projects.  

  • Be the gatekeeper for BIFG standards and apply them to daily/weekly/monthly routines  

  • Ensure PLEx tools and processes are fully embedded into the way of working and be a champion of continuous improvement by proposing to PLEx Team new ways of working. 

Who You Are


  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or related field.  

  • Knowledge of Supply Chain is desirable.  

  • Strong analytical, problem-solving skills and data-driven decision-making approach.  

  • Continuous improvement mindset with a focus on operational efficiency.  

  • Effective communication skills across all levels of the organization. Can adapt between detailed and global views.  

  • Adaptability and ability to multi-task.  

  • Be able to work and develop in ambiguity.  

  • Excellent team player.
