Job Overview

The Principal Advanced Analytics will analyze data from multiple sources including data lakes, internal and external sources, and data warehouses. Utilizing your expertise in predictive modeling, statistics, trend analysis, and a suite of other analytical techniques, you will unearth, examine, and pinpoint the critical data necessary to decode behaviors, address a variety of organizational challenges, and construct compelling business cases. Your work will contribute to fostering a culture of innovation, enhancing employee experiences, and steering strategic decision-making across all organizational levels.

Key Roles and Responsibilities
  • Responsible for developing sophisticated data analytics models and reports, utilizing a range of tools including but not limited to Power BI and its AI capabilities, Power Apps, SQL, and SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS), etc.
  • Excel in the collection, analysis, and interpretation of a diverse array of data to discover causal relationships, identify trigger points, and make informed predictions that will shape strategic HR initiatives and policies.
  • Employ your skills in time series forecasting to develop predictive models. Test these models beyond initial datasets and validate their effectiveness in real-world scenarios, ensuring they are robust and reliable.
  • Quantify the significance of data variances and employ a wide spectrum of statistical methods, from traditional techniques to innovative approaches within the Big Data realm, to support sound decision-making.
  • Create and deliver compelling reports, charts, tables, and other visual aids, utilizing your strong capabilities in communication, data storytelling, and presentation skills to effectively share findings and influence strategic directions.
  • Offer guidance and mentorship to colleagues, enhancing the team's analytical skills and fostering a collaborative environment where knowledge sharing, and continuous learning are valued.
  • Act as a thought leader, staying ahead of industry trends and best practices, conducting experimental analyses, and working in concert with internal and external partners to drive forward-looking insights and innovative solutions.


Job contribution

This role is designed for a technical professional with expert level experience and ability to serve as advisor on technical knowledge. The ideal candidate will not only possess a profound analytical skill set and technical expertise but also demonstrate exceptional problem-solving abilities, articulate communication, and a genuine passion for data storytelling.

Education & Experience
  • Required: bachelor's degree from an accredited university in a quantitative field of study such as Data Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering, or related subject.
  • Preferred: M.S. or Ph.D. degree from an accredited university in a quantitative discipline.
  • Typically requires 8-10 years of relevant experience, with exceptions made for candidates holding advanced degrees.
