The Product Marketing Lead will be responsible for leading market positioning, marketing programs and developing the North American market strategy to drive sales growth and achieve income objectives for the Point of Care (POC) Primary Care diagnostic testing portfolio. This role involves building and maintaining relationships with internal and external stakeholders, as well as identifying and executing product marketing launches and initiatives to ensure future growth.



Key Responsibilities:



  • Promotional Strategy Development: Oversee the development of promotional strategies, create sales support materials and educational aids, and explore new channels to boost market share and achieve sales excellence.

  • Market Strategy Leadership: Develop and take ownership of the market strategy for the entire primary care portfolio, ensuring effective product positioning across North American customer segments.

  • Opportunity Identification: Identify, evaluate, and capitalize on business opportunities through the development of new and enhanced products, product applications, educational programs, and customer services, with a focus on key opinion leaders, customers, the sales force, and distributor channels.

  • Collaborative Marketing Support: Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to promote assigned products. Tasks encompass developing strategic direction, conducting market assessments, forecasting, communicating product and competitive updates, managing inventory, participating in conferences, launching new products/programs, creating marketing materials, navigating approval processes, and optimizing distribution channels.

  • Opportunity Evaluation: Assess present and future opportunities through gathering customer feedback, monitoring procedural trends, analyzing competitive landscapes, reviewing complaints, observing prevalent complications, and evaluating reimbursement in critical procedural domains.

  • Product Launch Leadership: Take charge of product launch initiatives, overseeing content creation, sales education programs, commercialization planning and execution, field communication, sales initiatives, presentations, and forecasting.

  • Relationship Management: Cultivate and sustain enduring relationships with both internal and external stakeholders, encompassing the US salesforce, distributor teams, customer service, global marketing, marketing operations and communications, logistics, clinical affairs, legal, R&D, regulatory, quality, and key customers.



Qualifications:



  • Education: Bachelor's degree in sciences, business management or a related field; MBA or relevant advanced degree preferred.

  • Experience: At least 8 years of successful product marketing experience in the in-vitro diagnostic testing industry

  • Industry Knowledge: Deep understanding of the POC testing market, including current trends, technologies, regulatory environment, and competitive landscape.

  • Skills: Exceptional strategic thinking, analytical, and problem-solving skills; excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.

  • Travel: Ability to travel within North America (approximately 25% or as required) to support business objectives
