Job Description:

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Kforce has a client that is seeking a Financial Analyst in Fairfax, VA.

Responsibilities:

• Financial Analyst will prepare and submit monthly invoices (T&M, FFP, CPFF) in compliance with contract requirements using Deltek Costpoint


• Assisting with accounts receivable, accounts payable, billing/invoicing to customers, processing of cash receipts, and recording of revenue and receivables


• Supporting the monthly close process by preparing month end journals and reviewing balance sheet


• As a Financial Analyst, you will prepare monthly, quarterly, and yearly accruals


• Providing DCAA financial and compliance audit support


• Preparing payroll and timesheet processing and total time accounting compliance

REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or similar field


• Deltek Costpoint (T&M, FFP, CPFF contracts)


• 2+ years in Government Contracting experience


• Familiarity with DCAA, FAR, GAAP regulations


• Excellent communication skills, written and verbal, with the ability to clearly communicate issues to all levels of management


• Knowledge of Project Accounting, Cost Reporting, and Revenue Recognition is desired

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
