Job Description:

Position summary

As a General Ledger Technician I you will prepare various financial statements and reports, and perform general accounting duties in an accurate and timely manner under the guidance from supervisor and/or staff accountant. 

Qualifications

You are required to have:

•  AA degree in accounting, finance, or related


• Basic accounting knowledge


• General understanding of basic financial statements, including Balance Sheet, Income Statement, and Statement of Cash Flows


• Understanding of payroll concepts


• Demonstrated experience with Microsoft Office and specifically Microsoft Excel


• Good analytical and problem-solving skills


• Good organizational and communication skills


• Ability to work independently and provide self-leadership to initiate and achieve desired results on time

Additional preferred qualifications:

•  BS degree in accounting, finance, or related


• 1+ years of accounting experience is a plus

This position can be hybrid, reporting to Perham, MN

 Schedule

 Hours for this position are Monday-Friday, 8:00AM-4:30PM.
