Vitalant is hiring for a Sr. Manager, Clinical Laboratory in our Transfusion Services Division, to ensure adherence to regulatory agencies, conduct audits or procedures, records, equipment, document control and SOP management.

• Develop and lead teams, collaborate cross-functionally, and drive continuous improvement initiatives to support company growth and regulatory compliance.


• Ensure compliance with GMP, GLP, GTP, and other applicable regulatory standards.


• Develop and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs), batch records, and quality documentation.


• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, reduce cost, and maintain a high standard of quality.


• Support technology transfers, facility expansions, and new product launches.


• Lead investigations, CAPAs, and root cause analyses related to laboratory deviations.


• Stay current on industry best practices, regulatory updates, and emerging technologies.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree required. Master's Degree preferred.


• Must satisfy CLIA requirements for High Complexity Testing required.


• MT/MLS certification (i.e. ASCP) required. BB/SBB preferred.


• Seven years clinical laboratory experience required. To include:
  
  
  • Three years three years managerial or supervisory experience required.
  
  
  • Previous experience in immunohematology techniques, automated testing and computerization preferred.
