The EHS Coordinator is responsible for supporting the development, implementation, and maintenance of the company's Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) programs. This role ensures compliance with all applicable local, state, and federal regulations, including OSHA standards. The EHS Coordinator will maintain accurate EHS records, manage workers' compensation claims, assist in conducting safety audits, and promote a strong safety culture throughout the organization.

Work Hours: Standard working hours M- F with some flexibility needed

As our Environmental Health and Safety Coordinator, you will:
Maintain accurate and up-to-date EHS records, including training documentation, inspection reports, incident investigations, and safety data sheets (SDS).
Manage and maintain OSHA 300, 300A, and 301 logs, ensuring accurate and timely reporting of workplace injuries and illnesses.
Manage workers' compensation claims, including reporting incidents, coordinating medical treatment, and facilitating return-to-work programs.
Work with insurance providers and medical professionals to ensure appropriate claim management.
Assist in conducting regular safety audits and inspections to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance with safety standards.
Promote a strong safety culture by communicating safety information and best practices.
Participate in safety committee meetings and initiatives.
Assist in the development and implementation of emergency response plans.
Participate in emergency drills and exercises.
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
More than 2 years of experience in an EHS role, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
Working knowledge of OSHA regulations and other applicable EHS standards.
Experience managing workers' compensation claims.
Strong record-keeping and organizational skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Proficiency in Google/Microsoft Office Suite.
Preferred certifications:OSHA 10 hour, First Aid/CPR.
