Overview
Sev1Tech is seeking a Pricing Analyst to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting our proposal management team with pricing activities, ensuring compliance with RFP/RFQ requirements. This position requires a detail-oriented individual with a strong analytical background and the ability to coordinate effectively across teams.
Key Responsibilities:
Support Pricing Activities: Collaborate with business development, operations, contracts, and finance teams to develop and implement pricing strategies and activities for government and industry contract proposals, ensuring compliance with FAR/DFARS, internal policies, and regulatory guidelines.
RFP/RFQ Compliance: Analyze RFP/RFQ requirements to ensure all pricing submissions are fully compliant with the specifications outlined.
Pricing Schedule Coordination: Work closely with the Proposal Manager to create a realistic pricing schedule that aligns seamlessly with the overall proposal development timeline.
Pricing Model Development: Develop pricing models utilizing a variety of data sources to aid in the decision-making process.
Subcontractor Coordination: Coordinate and develop pricing requests for subcontractors to ensure all cost elements are accurately represented.
Cost Analysis Support: Support the analysis of labor, material, subcontractors, and other direct cost estimates to ensure they are fair, reasonable, realistic and competitive.
Cost and Pricing Volume Preparation: Contribute to the preparation of a comprehensive and competitive cost and pricing volume, focusing on the development of cost/price models and cost narratives.
Presentations to Leadership: Support the development and presentation of Pricing materials to corporate leadership.
Responsibilities
Bachelor's degree (prefferred in Finance, Business, Economics) or commensurate directly relevant Government Pricing experience.
Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Pricing Analysis supporting government RFPs/RFQs.
Strong understanding of government pricing regulations, including FAR and DFARS compliance.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Above average Excel skills are a must.
Clearance & Citizenship Requirement: Must be a U.S. Citizen able to obtain a clearance.
