Our client is currently seeking a Technician III - D Shift
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Integration Technician III to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in precision assembly of rocket engine components and a strong ability to interpret engineering drawings. This role involves working with advanced aerospace systems, supporting testing procedures, and contributing to manufacturing improvements.
Responsibilities:
Assemble and integrate combustion devices, valves, turbomachinery, avionics, and test components.
Perform root cause analysis and diagnostic repairs.
Conduct hydraulic testing for valve actuation.
Perform nitrogen and helium leak testing.
Prepare components for environmental testing.
Conduct hydro proof structural testing.
Ensure compliance with strict cleanliness requirements (liquid/gaseous oxygen compatibility).
Support the design, procurement, installation, and integration of custom manufacturing and test equipment.
Maintain inventory of tooling and equipment.
Safely handle hazardous systems, chemicals, and high-pressure operations.
Define hardware preparation for testing, qualification, and flight.
Identify, develop, and deploy new manufacturing methods to improve quality, reduce cost, and optimize schedules.
Support DFMA and PFMEA studies to strengthen design, build, and test feedback loops.
Develop manufacturing work instructions covering receiving inspection, fabrication, assembly, testing, integration, and refurbishment.
Identify non-conformances and deploy corrective actions.
Qualifications:
4 to 6 years of direct valve, turbomachinery, or engine assembly experience.
Expertise in precision and tight tolerance assembly.
Strong ability to interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
Extensive experience reading and understanding detailed work instructions.
Proven success in developing new processes.
Strong technical and software skills (CAD, Scheduling, Issue Tracking, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.).
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage across all levels of the organization.
Ability to build trust, foster professional relationships, and contribute to an inclusive workplace.
