Location: Scranton, PA



Shift: 2nd - 2pm to 11pm M-F



Job Responsibilities:

• Lead and supervise the maintenance team in daily operations.


• Install, assemble, and test new machines and equipment, ensuring compliance with workplace safety regulations.


• Conduct regular inspections of machines for malfunctions, including visual checks, listening for irregular noises, and scheduled testing.


• Monitor and promptly respond to signs of machinery malfunctions, such as performance changes, temperature fluctuations, unusual sounds, smells, or atypical energy usage; troubleshoot production machinery.


• Read and interpret equipment manuals, blueprints, and schematics.


• Troubleshoot and repair electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic systems.


• Conduct inspections to identify issues and recommend repairs or replacements.


• Perform routine and emergency repairs on various types of machinery, including mechanical, electric, and hydraulic; identify and replace worn or damaged parts.


• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs.


• Utilize a variety of power and hand tools.


• Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient operation of equipment.


• Adhere to safety protocols and regulations at all times.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Maintenance Supervisor or similar role in a mechanical and manufacturing industry.


• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, including high voltage.


• Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.


• Experience with HVAC/R systems and industrial mechanics.


• Familiarity with precision measuring instruments and tools.


• Ability to perform stick welding for repairs and fabrication.


• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.


• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.


• Availability to work weekends as needed.
