The Role
The Fleet Analyst's responsibilities include scheduling regular vehicle maintenance, keeping detailed records of vehicle servicing and inspection, and monitoring the usage of our fleet. Our ideal candidates are familiar with fleet management systems, have excellent communication skills, and can ensure the smooth running of fleet operations. Ultimately, the role of the Fleet Analyst is to ensure that all vehicles are properly maintained, and in compliance with all company policies and transportation laws.

RESPONSIBILITIES
Typical responsibilities
Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, transportation laws, and regulatory requirements.
Develop, implement, and establish fleet policies and procedures.
Coordinate driver schedules, vehicle acquisition, and disposal to optimize fleet usage and ensure best value.
Assist in budget preparation, expense management, vehicle registration, insurance, and the research, recommendation, and management of vehicle purchases or leases.
Monitor and manage fuel consumption, mileage, driver behavior, and maintenance costs.
Report on fleet performance, propose improvements, and build/send weekly reports from the Geotab database.
Update fleet profiles within the fleet management company's platform.
Implement cost-saving strategies and use data analysis and reporting to improve efficiency and optimize fleet operations.
Manage maintenance schedules to prevent downtime and stay informed on fleet management trends and technology.

Expected:
Proven work experience as a Fleet Coordinator or similar role
Knowledge of fleet management and transportation laws
Good understanding of safety regulations and servicing
Proficient with fleet management software
Desirable:
Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
Manage telematic platforms: Geotab, Lonestar, and Ford Pro.
