The Vehicle Mechanic is responsible for vehicle annual safety inspection, and preventive maintenance servicing vehicles including but not limited to fuel levels, tire wear, lights, suspension, brakes, bushings, oil change, filters changes, sleeves and bushings, spark plugs, vehicles washing, battery inspection and other maintenance as needed.This position requires completion of an approved apprenticeship program in automotive repair; or a high school diploma and four years of appropriate experience. Appropriate vocational/ technical training may substitute at an equivalent rate for the required experience.The University of South Florida is a high-impact global research university dedicated to student success.
