Join the Security Threat Management Team! As a Cybersecurity Analyst, you will join a group of offensive security specialists, focusing on vulnerability management for varying types of systems in a large infrastructure.  You will work with vulnerabilities from multiple toolsets, helping to making decisions for the organization on how to address and remediate these vulnerabilities.

Responsibilities:


  • Manage the Tenable infrastructure, including pushing Nessus agent updates to the organization.

  • Oversee the daily administration of security vulnerability scanning (scan schedules, asset groups, scanning tuning, etc.)

  • Onboard and support operating systems to ensure they are configured with a CIS-based secure configuration.

  • Responsible for vulnerability management for both on-premises and cloud resources and ensure the company’s overall security posture.

  • Responsible for using the Tenable products (tenable.sc and tenable.io), Prisma, Invicti, Palo IoT, and other tools for vulnerability management.

  • Responsible for the vulnerability risk acceptance process to ensure each vulnerability is properly evaluated, mitigated, and documented properly.

  • Assemble metrics, reports, and presentations for multiple teams and executives. 

  • Develop and implement security standards and procedures to ensure the security, reliability and accessibility of applications, networks, and infrastructure components.

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, or an analytical or engineering discipline.

  • 4+ years of Cybersecurity technical experience

  • Experience with Windows and/or Linux/UNIX operating systems.

  • Experience with networking protocols – TCP, UDP, DNS, HTTPS, SMB.

  • Strong in troubleshooting software installation and configuration challenges.

  • Comfortable and effective at presenting technical data to large groups of people.


 


  • Certifications: Security+, Network+, Azure AZ-900, GIAC GCIH, GIAC GPEN.

  • Experience with Tenable product or an equivalent vulnerability management solution.

  • Experience using PowerShell or other scripting languages.
