We are seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Bookkeeper to join our corporate team. This role is responsible for managing day-to-day banking functions, posting tenant rent payments, maintaining tenant certifications, and overseeing site-specific accounting through Classic and Yardi systems. The ideal candidate is organized, communicative, and enjoys collaborating with property managers and office staff in a supportive and positive environment. Key Responsibilities
Manage all banking activity for apartment communities with accuracy and consistency.
Post monthly journal entries and perform monthly account reconciliations.
Track and record rent payments and deposits in coordination with Site and District Managers.
Maintain accurate tenant records and certification statuses; report updates to management.
Ensure proper documentation and organization of accounting records and files.
Utilize Yardi software to manage tenant information and accounting tasks.
Qualifications
Prior experience in bookkeeping and general accounting.
Familiarity with Yardi Voyager and Microsoft 365 (Teams, Excel, Word, Outlook) is a plus.
Punctual, professional, and able to collaborate effectively with team members.
Strong attention to detail and a positive, can-do attitude.
Working Conditions
Standard hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM.
PAY DOE $27 to $32
